This is a bit off-topic, but it’s an important subject. We all know that if we are sick enough to need an antibiotic, we must finish the bottle or the harmful bacteria may return. I am without power thanks to Sandy and managed to catch a very sore throat. A doctor prescribed clarithromycin telling me to take two pills a day for ten days and reminding me to finish the bottle even if I feel better sooner. I picked up the prescription and noticed that the container said quantity 20. As I took my first pill I thought to myself, “These pills are quite big. I can’t believe that this small container holds 20 pills.” So I dumped the pills out and counted. There were 14 pills.
